Watching Film 4+1, the credits of The Simpsons Movie froze briefly, flickered to black, and adverts started. I'm guessing when they finish it'll cut back to the frozen credits.

The graphic on Channel 5 is a rectangle made up of a white triangle and a black one.

The one time I'm watching GOLD and most of the channels go down the pot in the channel 5, channel 4, etc!

Can’t believe that any of these issues like flickery eighths of video is because they’ve left it unattended, so must be a result of an equipment room being cut power or something similar

I don’t know if this counts, but on BBC Two prior to the Chelsea Flower Show at 7pm, there was an “Authoritative” ident with a pre-recorded “You’re Watching BBC Two” announcement from Dean Lydiate instead of an evening continuity announcer. Does anybody think that was part of that mass TV outage?

More4 on air again.
E4 now on a grey screen. No sign of 4Music and the Box Plus Network coming back anytime soon.

More4 seems to have gone back down again and is doing the same flickery glitchy stuff as it was earlier.

More4 now back on air, looking like a back-up as the DOG has shifted slightly to the right

All in all, sounds like a major systems outage. Whisper/Timeline are effectively stuck on air with their F1 playout, with occational interference of the automation switching to a pres playout server that is equally non-responsive.

As alluded to by Larry the Loafer , Film4+1 seems to suggests a video feed failure of some sort is what happened. Its playing adverts, announcements, even Film4 "coming up" trailers but there's no ident or "main" video (which is the stuck Simpson Movie credits)
