I see ITV have adjusted and fixed the Martin Lewis promo at the end of the Emmerdale credits last night.

I didn’t even realise it wasn’t live last night. The question is then why can the promo not be recorded every week and inserted the same way?

I've never been a huge fan of them ditching the idents and credits in daytime anyway but think crashing straight into the news then into the titles immediately off the back of them isn't great in situations like today and an ident before and after would make it flow much better, especially as they are slight schedule changes.

![]() While logo hunting today, I decided to check a S13 episode of The Bill on UKTV Play, and to my surprise this was kept. I've heard that usually the Carlton/Yorkshire endcaps aren't usually intact on prints other than the original airings, so it looks to me the copy Fremantle got while issuing this print was the same print as the original Carlton airing

Goodness. The colour banding on that.

Apologies if this isn't the best place, but it was the first one I could easily find.
Back in 2019, one of my local bus operators abruptly closed down. Some of its routes were redistributed among other operators, including the 110/111 route which runs from my hometown of Matlock to Ashbourne via Carsington Reservoir. I can't think why, but the decal at the back reminds me of something.

Wow, is Carsington Connection owned by the same people who owned TSW then?

They used to run some coach services to destinations across the country, but given they're a family business in Derbyshire, I highly doubt they'd have had any relation to TSW.

I spotted this trailer during tonight’s Dancing on Ice (and have seen the presenters pop stills onto social media) for ITV’s celebration of International Women’s Day on 8th March.
The reason I post it is that they have brought back the three layered logo at the end, but slightly different with the logo appearing over the picture direct and the picture fading to a colour. It works very well in my opinion and definitely feels fresher having the three sections rather than the solid white in the block. Or a boomerang/bounce effect if you just want to see the logo.

That never went away. ITV Hub uses a very similar animation, with a boxed version of the three layer logo.

ITV Hub does, yes, but the channel changed to using the whole logo, unless this is supposed to be a corporate thing… but then doesn’t the corporate side still use the 5 segment logo? :?

As discussed here, the ITV Hub is being replaced with ITVX.
From the image posted in the press release it looks like the layered ITV logo is on its way out, at least as far as the new service is concerned. https://www.itv.com/presscentre/press-re...ucing-itvx Clearly this is going to impact to some extent on ITV (main channel)’s presentation, given how the layered look is integrated currently between the channel and the Hub. I wonder if this could mean a full-scale refresh of the flagship channel’s presentation and idents to incorporate the style of ITVX. Given the ITV Creates idents are now just being recycled, I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if something new is on the way this year.

Just before Coronation Street there was a slate board for ITV with the continuity announcer saying...
"Now on ITV it's Chester's favourite soap - Hollyoaks. (GROANS) That should've said Manchester's favourite soap - Coronation Street. (SIGHS) Should've gone to Specsavers!", followed by a slate with the ITV and Specsavers logo on. It did say "Advertisment" in the corner of the promo |
