Locally here in Baltimore WBAL-TV has an FM sister station 98 Rock (97.9 FM really) WIYY that has a morning show, Justin Scott and Spiegel. It is highly rated morning show from 5-10AM. They usually get whatever celebrities and (d listers too) to come on their show. About two years ago it was pitched that they make five 30 minute episodes using their best segments in a pop up video style segment (remember that?). Anyway the show has come back for several more “miniseries”. It airs after Saturday Night Live and is supposedly one of the higher rated shows after Saturday Night Live.
The morning show isn’t rated outside of Baltimore but is known to have an audience in the Washington DC market and parts of Virginia.
The show using their live-streaming equipment for which the PTZ cameras would make some mid market stations jealous.
