Came on at 8:30 which is a bit late for brekkie telly.
8.30am was a bit of an odd time to show such a programme - I’m not sure who their target demographic was meant to be. Most people would be on their way to work, many mums would be doing the school run/walking their kids to school. Good Friday was 8th April, so most schools probably wouldn’t have broken up for Easter until the following week. They may have picked up a few extra viewers over the holidays, only to lose them again.
Tyne Tees ran a similar “Good Morning North East” programme at the same time, but I’m not aware of who presented it and how similar it was to YTV’s offering.
