So did the presenter I saw introducing the obituary on BBC News, who you'd think out of anyone would get it right. The obituary itself though did point out he presented it on ITV.
Of course his name was an anagram of "organise BBC game".
The UC 40th anniversary documentary in 2002 - and its repackaging as The Story So Far in 2006 when the film adaptation of Starter for Ten was released - overlooked the fact that the show started on ITV, too.
