Have you ever appeared on Television? - Steve in Pudsey - 26-04-2021 Calendar did a report on the first day of the RSL radio station my school ran (in 1997 when it was quite a pioneering thing to do). They filmed some bits during the breakfast show, I was just loitering in the background - not entirely sure why I was there because I did the afternoon show, possibly just moral support. Also once got vox popped by Alan Whitehouse at Leeds station for Look North when the train service collapsed. Sadly all I could tell him was that my train appeared to be running on time, so I didn't make the cut! Judge Rinder cases tend to be more about who broke the vase and who should pay to replace it or "am I liable to pay for the DJ who played crap music" as opposed to more serious matters, but I believe (much like the American Judge Judy) any "you owe him £1500" comes out of the production fund, the matter is closed and you get the honour of having your fizzog on the TV for 20 minutes. Judge Rinder isn't a real court in any sense: unlike Judge Judy, Judge Rinder isn't even binding arbitration. The only cases featured are civil, and the only decisions made are about awarding the production company's money (treated for tax purposes as prize money), so there are no legal rulings which may need to be 'appealed'. There's nothing to stop people taking their cases to court afterwards if they want to do so. Have you ever appeared on Television? - Vanilla Vip3r - 26-04-2021 I was a part of the crowd at the final Big Breakfast back in 2002, so I imagine I probably appeared fleetingly on screen at some point. Other than that and my name being read out several times on Avago a few times I haven't been on TV. Have you ever appeared on Television? - rkolsen - 29-04-2021 My father has in a show called a Disasters at Sea, episode Shipwrecked in Alaska. He was interviewed because he was a civilian US Coast Guard investigator for the casualty. The show airs next in the UK on Quest on 7th May at 2PM. His portion was filmed in 2017, they had a Sony Mirrorless camera setup for still photos ontop of an Alexa Mini. It was shot in a bar in Washington, DC. The show aired in the US in 2019. Have you ever appeared on Television? - Lewser - 20-12-2021 It was pointed out to me recently that I am now a Netflix star. Something they filmed ten years ago, on Channel 4, has made its way to the streaming service. Not sure how, and now sure why I am a thumbnail there. It's all a little embarrassing  !! Have you ever appeared on Television? - Mateus Honrado - 20-12-2021 I was part of the audience in two episodes of TV Burp. Have you ever appeared on Television? - JetixFann450 - 20-12-2021 This is actually pretty fairly recent, but I was part of an audience recording session for a new sketch comedy one-off (might get a series, who knows) for BBC Scotland. You may hear a faint "OH GOD" as the laughter ensues, so keep an eye out for that. God knows how they were able to record a laugh track with people's face coverings muffling it out. Have you ever appeared on Television? - NancerOnTheLIVEForum - 20-12-2021 I remember watching a bike race in person with my school as they rode across my village. Have you ever appeared on Television? - sjames - 20-12-2021 I've not exactly appeared on TV myself, but have had a Christmas card shown on Blue Peter years ago, and used to regularly get letters up on teletext. I thought I was going to be on local news once when Anglia came to film at my work, but when it was shown, I was just out of shot! There is however a Myth Makers Doctor Who DVD where I can be seen quite clearly at the end with my parents at a convention, and I never knew about it until fairly recently. Have you ever appeared on Television? - FanOfTV99 - 20-12-2021 I was once pictured on Sky Sports where they film the fans for the build up of a televised game. I also had a few shoutouts on Jackpot247. The most recent one was on their 10th birthday where they where just about to close. |
