New Logo. Same Idents. - Rdd - 18-10-2021 The current RTE One look, launched in 2014, still uses the idents launched with the previous look in 2006, albeit with the old logo replaced with the new one and a bit of cropping done. Very long in the tooth now, they’ll be 15 years on air next month. New Logo. The one I remember had the familar three note :!: motif.Didn't that come with the 2009 re-edits? New Logo. Same Idents. - Brekkie - 18-10-2021 Talking of changing music do wonder if adding a soundtrack could somewhat lift Oneness so also wondering if there are examples of idents where a music change, rather than logo change, have actually given them a new lease of life. The obvious example being the original C4 idents which saw FourScore replaced in the early 90s. New Logo. The logo top left and separate allows the text to breathe. New Logo. At what point did the Generation game and Noel’s House Party return back in those days? New Logo. Same Idents. - Neil Jones - 18-10-2021 They were both October to March. The (as it turned out) last but one series of House Party appeared two weeks after the rebrand, as did the then third series of Jim Davidson's tenure on Generation Game (though of course by that point it was on its eighth series of the revival) As it turns out, back to back as well, in 1997 at least: https://genome.ch.bbc.co.uk/schedules/service_bbc_one_london/1997-10-18#at-18.00 New Logo. Channel 4 subsequently binned the rebrand plans I’d doubt that. I think it was just a stylish 4. None of the previous Channel 4 News titles had included the channel logo. I think those titles were altered to include the logo in 1993. New Logo. I remember that I would watch Saturday Morning shows, usually Live & Kicking (especially over Tricky), then feel that no channel offered me anything that I’d want to watch, though I think I watched the Mag a few times. The Saturday evening schedules looked so slimmed down, but entertaining, I suppose you could have an early evening of brilliant programmes when you bolster up prime time with films on a Saturday night and get big ratings for them. New Logo. Same Idents. - Brekkie - 18-10-2021 I'd have probably stuck with BBC1 most of the day, though Grandstand that day wouldn't have appealed with Bowls and Snooker. Tended not to switch over until Family Fortunes from what I remember. Richard post_id=48330 time= user_id=838 Wrote:I tend to agree given it doesn't really match the logo in the leaked unused ident, which kind of takes this back on topic as it is very much a new logo trying to capture the essence of the previous idents and failing miserably. Thank god they didn't go there.Steve in Pudsey post_id=47916 time= user_id=942 Wrote:Reputedly Channel 4 News pre-empted a rebrand with that strange bevelled 4 figure. New Logo. Same Idents. - JAS84 - 11-11-2021 Yeah, BBC One's pretty much is the 2002 logo. BBC Two's colour doesn't match the 2001 logo, and the font doesn't match it's successor, so that logo never actually existed. Why is Channel 4's logo just the blocks in white there? Wasn't their circles package in use at the time? |
