What a horrible way to go. Thoughts with her family, and RIP to Anna Karen. I will remember her as Sal from EastEnders, and her acerbic taking down of all the Mitchell clan in her appearances made her one of my favourites.

What a terrible way to die. I'm not overtly religious but I pray that she passed without fear. RIP.

Oh my goodness how horrible.
 Getting to that grand age and then dying like that. Really upsetting.

Very sad circumstances. She was a very talented actress.
I hope EastEnders give Aunt Sal a fitting send off.

Very sad. I believe she was a wheelchair-user which may have made it more difficult for her to escape the fire.
