Apologies if this thread is misplaced; hopefully it's OK.
Today, a significant bug has arisen on Humax Foxsat and Gen 2 Freesat boxes. You can still record any programme which is on-air 'now' (ie at the time you hit record) but if you schedule a recording for a future programme, that recording will never happen, and eventually fails. Essentially, PVR functionality is almost useless on these boxes. I can confirm this is the case on our HDR-1100S, and reported by others on social media.
Not sure what's happened, possibly an issue with the EPG data?
Edited to add - just found out that this seems to be an issue with the flag used to enable accurate start/end timing on recordings. It's either not being sent correctly, or is no longer being recognised by Humax hardware. Changing the padding time settings from 'Auto' to a fixed interval of 2/5/10 minutes fixes the problem, but of course, results in less accurate recordings.
