Finally after 10 years US audiences will be able to view the Canadian version of their favourite reality show Big Brother. After years of watching bootleg versions and dodgy VPN streams. Global and CBS has struck a deal to air the Canadian English language version. But not all the seasons and there is no word if the latest 10th series soon to air will be on the platform and if it does will Paramount+ make the live stream available. In Canada you cant watch the US live stream.
THis includes a deal to air the lastest 2 Aussie verision. But versions use the CBS version that was created by CBS over 20 years ago.
The North American BB fandom is certainly celebrating today, whilst awaiting the cast of the soon to air Celebrity Big Brother 3 airing during the Beijing Olympics. Only news out so far is there is confirmation the spiral staircase in the 17 year old rotten BB house has finally been removed.(big deal...not)
After years of both version air in Canada and only the US version airing in the US now both can be seen. BB US has for year virtually ignored the Canadian version like it doesnt exist, whilst the Canadian version acknowledged that the format came from the US.
Apparently this will make the series available to audiences around the world that already have access to PARAMOUNT+ streaming service. Currently the UK does not have access to Paramount+ but according this RadioTime this should be happening sometime this early part of 2022.
