Feels like we're coming full circle with this slot on Channel 5. The Wright Stuff had an 'Extra' for a bit in the same slot, before it was spun off until Live With... (originally Gabby Logan till she left). I believe it only lasted a year or so.

Jeremy Vine Extra airing until 12:15pm without Jeremy Vine meanwhile on Radio 2 from 12 til 2 it’s Jeremy Vine with actual Jeremy Vine. Could this new show not been have named something else? Seems pretty odd to me that you’d having a “Jeremy Vine Extra” programme airing whilst the man named is on a different broadcaster!

Previously done ten years ago, initially with Gabby Logan as 'The Wright Stuff Extra: With Gabby Logan'.
I think over a couple of months the name was tweaked and then changed once Gabby left and was replaced by Guests.

Perhaps Jeremy will record an introduce to each show, saying what is coming up, and introduce Storm? That would give the name a slight sense of logic then!
