Disney+

There’s no doubt Disney+ has become a force to be reckoned with when it comes to streaming - just over a year old (in the U.K. at least) and it’s going from strength to strength.

One thing I find incredibly frustrating however, is when browsing for something to watch from the Home Screen you have to decipher what the show/movie actually is from the tile. Why can’t they implement something similar to Netflix where at least the title of the content appears somewhere - and a synopsis would be pretty nice too. Am I just getting old? :geek:

Disney+ navigation drives me up the wall. I've found that if something isn't on the home screen it's an uphill struggle to find anything.

Is it though, all you have to do is search for it.

Searching is no good if I want a general browse.

Trying to get to another episode of a series is very difficult. It's like it was designed with just one off movies in mind and series have been bolted on without an UI update.

Agreed, it's quite frustrating. And if you're part-way through a series and you want to navigate 'sideways' to the episode list, the front page carousel only offers a 'continue watching' thumbnail. There's no way to get back to the episode and season list from the player or the front page, unlike with Netflix.

If they could add search for episode titles, that'll be grand.

also the URl structure seems to keep throwing you into your half watched episode and makes it tricky to get back to the catalogue.

Disney+ hire C4 commissioner responsible for It's a Sin and The End of the F*****g World as their EMEA scripted programming chief, according to Deadline.

Appears to be an interesting bug on the Disney+ app on Firestick as witnessed by me, haven't tried it on other platforms but if I'm insane enough to change the default Mickey Mouse avatar and my name from "Profile", the app crashes out and goes back to the Firestick main screen. Which is... interesting.

Yeah, that might be a bit too taboo, considering some people think they're brothers.
I don't think it was ever confirmed either way what the relationship was between them, though apparently according to a forum post on chipndaleonline.com if you piece together the stories from the old comics and build the canon, there was a grandfather and a couple of nephews, not that any of these people appeared in the classic cartoons where they're just winding Donald Duck up.
