Adam Hills has just announced that The Last Leg will be getting a new set when it returns in the new year.
The set has been largely unchanged for some years apart from special sets for paralympics etc. and only has the brick wall because they used to come from Riverside Studios (IIRC). Will be interesting to see the changes.

Hopefully will take inspiration from the Paralympics set. Looks like they're filming the new series at Elstree according to SRO Audiences.

This returns on Friday. Adam Hills spends less time in Australia than Novak Djokovic these days.

The Last Leg have chosen to use Elstree Studios, as since they would use Studio TC1 at Television Centre, their new series for 2022 would coincide with Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway who use the same studio. It was a no brainer for them to use Elstree for this series.
Their Elstree studio is smaller than TC1 at Television Centre, but not noticeable on screen.

I suspect many shows have learnt over the last couple of years smaller audiences aren't necessarily a bad thing. The Paralympic shows worked just as well with about 40 guests as 400+ does for the main show.

Very industrial-looking titles & set. Liking it, very modern.
They're both women and that trumps regionality; ITV guidelines
Set looks great - less keen on the titles.

I'd've thought they'd have got rid of the social distant seating by now between Josh and Alex.
It looks like they forgot to flip the celebrity autograph shots - both Nish and Sandi were writing right-to-left from the viewer's POV.

I really like the new set, as has been said, an industrial theme, darker lighting, feeling more late night. It feels like an evolution of the last set, but at least this time the letters behind them make more sense.
I like the titles, they’re different, but they needed updating, (as the joke in the pre titles suggested) they all look different.

I think as social distancing goes it feels quite natural on The Last Leg set.
The set seems to be quite a bit bigger. Looks good though a bit dark but nice to see a clean revamp with everything changing in one go - set, titles, graphics, leg.

I wonder if it’s less social distancing and more how the show is going to stay?
I remember them mentioning in an interview before how having the guests on the other side actually worked better as it helps the conversation flow more naturally because they’re facing each other.
