ITVBe's on screen presentation.

So a while ago, I said that itvBe. is lacking so much of it's on air presentation, and at the moment they're only utilizing this color scheme, with the itvBe logo on a dark navy-grey background with "itv" and the dot in orange and "Be" in white and they are only using the Feathers and Glitter idents and the only ECP they're using is Glitter. I miss it when they would submission photos from their audience. And the Mydents, Suprises and Polaroid style photo break stings. I miss the other idents as well. (Diamonds, Bubbles, Popcorn, Dolly mixture candies, Leaves, and Donuts. And also Snow, which is only used during winter.) And the IPP that had subtitles within it and it then transitioned to the itvBe on screen bug. And the IPP to inform what show would air next, I also wish they had the different ECP variations too, they also don't do menus anymore. And also I miss seeing a lot of it's shows which are the following;

I’m not a big watcher of the channel unfortunately, but your post does raise a good question, why do broadcasters decrease the amount of idents and presentation elements that they use? It’s similar to how channel 4 have become over reliant on the football block man Ident. Is there reason for it? Is it automated? Or is it just somebody being lazy?

I have no clue what the situation is like there at ITV Be, but I assume them reducing the amount of branding on air is possibly due to less viewers? With less people watching, what's the point in having more elaborate branding when you can repeat the same ident(s) to death and be done with it? Not saying that's a good thing, having more interactive elements such as the photos you mentioned seems like a great idea, but if there's nobody sending it in then it makes sense for it all to be reduced.

Nothing unfortunate about it. Presentation wise though considering every other advert on ITV(1) seems to be for ITVBe they could probably do with upping their game, but their presentation looks far superior to any of their programming to be honest.

I must say, I think you're wasting your time making a petition for something like this. The majority of viewers don't give a toss about presentation, as long as the programmes they want to see are where and when they want to see them, then what the channel shows before the programme is of little consequence to them.

Petitions only work if enough people get behind them, and they only get behind them if a) you're petitioning for something worthwhile and b) People give a monkeys about it. ITV Be's presentation (or lack of it) falls into neither category. People tune into see Towie or whatever this channel airs, not to see the presentation.

I doubt a Be viewer is going to care about the presentation and the fact the colours have been reduced. You must be crazy to care about the presentation of a dead-beat ITV2 reject channel. It seems to be a "Oh no, my biscuits in the tea again" moment, a frenzy of panic. Yes, we mock Oneness a lot, if presentation is bad we'll obviously criticise it.

But really, who here watches ITVBe?

I am one of the only few people who watch ITVBe, but at one point I saw one ident, it was
Bubbles before Be Tasty & after that they just went back to Feathers and Glitter.....why them two and not Balloons, Popcorn, Donuts, Leaves (which is normally first seen in autumn), Diamonds, Snow (first seen in winter) and Dolly mixture.
And I'm not a 'boy", I'm the first LGBTQ+ person on this forum. A genderfluid abrosexual. Also a reason why they did this, maybe it's because of corona
