The current episode of Bullseye showing on Challenge seems to have been squashed into a 16:9 letter box.
Anyone know how this would even happen? The channel itself is outputting at the correct aspect ratio as the DOG is in the correct position, so it must be an issue with the playout of this particular programme.
As Challenge (and Pick) are showing the usual schedule, I do wonder if we will see an uplift in its ratings these next few days while all/most BBC channels & ITV focus on the current news events.
I've watched more Challenge today than in a very long while!

Call it a wild guess but I imagine Disney+ had a very good night.
Challenge showing Lily Savages Blankety Blank, and they are claiming on screen that these eps are "New to Challenge".
Well I've been watching this on Sundays between 5pm-7pm for about the last 4 months (3 eps shown each sunday) and tonight they're showing eps that were only on a few weeks ago...so clearly not "New to Challenge"! :?
It got me thinking, I've seen this "New to Challenge" graphic on screen many times before when they are showing something I've definitely seen previous on Challenge....could this sort of thing get them in bother with Ofcom (making claims of something new to Challenge when it's previous been shown, i.e. these Blankety Blank eps that which were only on a few weeks ago)?
Could this been seen as misleading viewers? Making false claims onscreen? Or do Ofcom not seen any problems with a broadcaster making claims something is 'new' when it's not??? Channel 5 get away claiming stuff is 'new' when its a 'Revised repeat'.

"New to Challenge" usually means they haven't shown it under Sky ownership. I wonder sometimes if the "new to Challenge" thing is tagged in the system and somebody's just forgotten to remove it/hasn't noticed.
It's not really "misleading" as such, probably no more misleading than their ident which features plenty of gameshow elements belonging to programmes they haven't shown for months or years.
Sort of related to Challenge but more and more on weekends Pick has been showing The Chase! I understood when it was the odd celebrity special but has now gone up to more civilian episodes. Why is this?
I don't think sky really care about Challenge anymore. I've noticed that the website has stopped working and all social media channels have been inactive for since July 2019. I hope the rumours about Sky wanting to cease broadcasting aren't true.
Noticed that. Also a strange choice for Challenge to be showing Pointless at 5pm at the moment. Surely any Pointless fan is far more likely to be watching the BBC One showing at that time.
It’s almost as if they don’t care about the channel.
