That though is the selling point of them outside of England at least.

Seen many road notices but no ones been talking about when I've been there

I'm probably biased because of my involvement through work but people are talking about it, while at the same time it's not started yet so they are cracking on with their lives and grumbling about some of the inconveniences. The logos and Perry statues are everywhere in the city centre (mostly covering up the ugly bits and many of them already graffitied as you'd expect) but we Brummies do have thing of taking the piss out of ourselves quite easily so it's probably not had the excitement you'd expect of a host city. I'd expect that to change somewhat once they start.

The BBC Three studio, a longer segment on the One Show this evening I believe

Watching back on iPlayer you also get to see the BBC One studio, which is indeed all virtual apart from the windows, that said the windows are quite big so most of the shots will have the real view on them. They might superimpose the top of library building above the window a bit like ITV did with red square a few years ago at the World Cup.

Due to the Commonwealth Games next week’s Radio Times probably has the most difficult to read listings ever seen.

BBC One and BBC Two has been given one and a half columns each meaning the times don’t line up, and as a result BBC Two has more detail than ITV!

Yes, I was going to get it this week but it looked a right mess - don't understand why they've done that at all given BBC2 only has the anti-news slots.

Noticed the studios last Thursday, here’s what they look like from the exterior.

Are we expecting the opening titles to just be the same as the promo, as seems to be the way these days (like the most recent Olympics)
#56
Radio times has done what it does for the olympics but agree it looks messy and hard to use also multiple covers this week England goes for gold, wales go for gold, scotland goes for gold and Northern Ireland goes for gold, if there were issues for the Channel Islands and Isle of Man this pattern would continue
#57
Probably will be the case but hoping for something a little more.

Perhaps a clue to the World Feed titles and graphics identity in the clips posted in the last few days - very much based around geometric shapes.

The official Glasgow and Gold Coast titles were both rather stunning.

In terms of intro, the YouTube algorithm has given me this intro and outro.

Do we know who the BBC have on commentary duty for the OC this evening as I’ve been unable to find it anywhere

The Olympics section of ICDB.tv has been repurposed for all CWG 2022 commentary listings - https://olympics.icdb.tv/ including the Opening Ceremony here - https://olympics.icdb.tv/match/573
