Finally, after 3 years in digital services, 13 days in the promo, and 4 days after issuing the license, Suspilne during 89 day of the war, rebranded all TV channels, radio stations and platforms on the Internet.

As mentioned earlier, UA: Pershyi change its logo to Pershyi (without the annexe Suspilne) and all regional TV channels (it was been known during reissuing licences) have got unified colour with the flagship channel and the broadcaster logo. Bye-bye, uniqueness! Some regional TV channels, changed their naming, like Suspilne + name of the Regional centre (Suspilne Lutsk, Suspilne Uzhhorod, etc.). Also, Suspilne Kultura (which doesn't launch a rebrand on TV yet) has got with Radio Kultura unified purple colour.
The S-semicircle has Prisma texture and Prisma-like animation on-screen (Like this video of Suspilne Novyny lower). Thanks, Natsrada*, that logos don't disappear during ads from 2010 We have been on Digital TV for a long time, maybe it's time?

The on-screen bugs were moved to the top-left corner, for the first time, since 1997. And we, in the Ukrainian TV community thought, that S-semicircle would be somehow diverse, we thought, that will be idents with semi-watermelon for Suspilne Kherson (Kherson - it is Ukraine!), but no, glass semicircle with a Prisma-effect.

This is what the BBC in UK should rebranded all domestic services at one time instead phase-to-phase rebrand that happens now. Meanwhile, Suspline streamlined their TV, Radio, and Online service branding into unified one, like BBC domestic services branding but not BBC international services, which still used mish-mash old and new branding.

And during a war too.

Figured it'd be better to post it here. WOTV, an ABC sister station to WOOD-TV, renamed from the female-centric 'WOTV 4 Women' to ' ABC 4 West Michigan' back in March.
As well as the new ABC icon, the surrounding pres embrace the master rebrand fully, as seen from the serif wordmark, gradient colours (for different show genres) and circle backdrop.
Now on TVTalk, Pres Café and DeviantArt. Goodbye to all that, TVLF.

Their WOTV 4 Women branding was remarkable in the context of the U.S. television system. Quite a bold claim to make as an affiliate of a major broadcast network where you have little control over what’s shown in primetime. So what did they do? Have a female centric morning and afternoon schedule? That seems a tough differentiator since most syndicated programming seems to go after the female demographic anyway, so all the stations skew towards women outside network hours.

Then WOTV owner LIN Media (taken over by Media General and then by Nexstar) took a bold decision in 2012 to reformat its daytime programming to focus on women, but to understand this move, you need to understand the history of the station.
The problem WOTV had for many years was its inability to compete with WOOD and Sinclair-owned WWMT, to makes things worse, there is a second affiliate in the Grand Rapids market, Tegna-owned WZZM 13; however, WZZM’s transmitter is located farther north of the DMA, hence the creation of WOTV. Then, in 1991, a local group of investors who owned the station seeked help from LIN, pairing it with WOOD, but retaining its status as a separate station. This status quo was retained until 2002, when LIN bought WOTV outright (as part of LIN reacquiring WOOD from AT&T), and all operations were centralized into WOOD-TV; all newscasts and original programming were gradually dropped, replaced by WOOD simulcasts (currently at 6am on weekdays, and 6pm and 11pm nightly). Since then, WOTV acts as a secondary station in the duopoly, and it was decided that a format change was needed.
Although it still airs ABC network shows and the WOOD news simulcasts, in Spring 2012, the channel reformatted its daytime syndicated fare to focus on women, including lifestyle and talk shows, as well as court programming, hence the WOTV 4 Women moniker. It would be reformatted by 2016 as My WOTV 4, as syndicated programming changes caused the format to become more gender-agnostic, but still focused on a female audience.
Here are some vintage idents from BBC -- not the one in the UK, but the Banahaw Broadcasting Corporation in the Philippines, which took over from ABS-CBN after that broadcaster's license was taken away by the government in 1973:

Channel 2 in the Philippines was called BBC-2 at the time, same as in the UK. I didn't know why they renamed as City2 Television, maybe due to fears of lawsuit from the BBC in UK.

PBS Kids is slowly rolling out a new logo, dropping in the process the Dot/Dash logos used since 1999, and updated around 2008/2009. The new logo retains, however, the longtime font used by the former. The big difference also is that the new logo aims to be much more connected to the current PBS logo. No word on when this logo will debut full-time on screen.

The logo appeared at the right side is just the recreation of the official new logo, only with "KIDS" written in current font. The official new logo was registered as trademark by the United States Patent and Trademark Office with sightly different "KIDS" font as described above. (source: itspeeebs twitter account via WildcatME1999 for high-resolution image) I'm sure that anyone cannot really notice the difference between official and mockup/recreation/fanmade versions.

Angola's state broadcaster TPA has rebranded all of its operations, coinciding with the date of the 46th anniversary of its launch, and a full-flown switch to 16:9 and HD production and distribution. The new logo is a modernized version of their longtime logo, which had been used for most of its existence, with heavy updates in the course of time. Additionally, their satellite channel TPA Internacional has been rebranded TPA3. Each channel has a new specific color for its branding, with TPA1 retaining its particular brown color, TPA2 going for light purple and TPA3 using a light blue hue.
They also have new channel-specific remits: TPA1 focuses on news, information and cultural programming, with emphasis on local shows; TPA2 is now targeted at a younger audience, with lots of entertainment and children's programming; and TPA3 retains its focus as an international satellite channel, with a mix of shows from both channels. It also plans to launch additional channels, including a news channel and specific regional channels.
As part of this, TPA has upgraded all its equipment in its Luanda HQ to allow for the transition, and launched its digital terrestrial signals, planning a full digital switchover by August. The newsroom has been moved to the neighboring township of Camama, in Belas city.

Here's the longer version of the ident:
The new logo reminds me of the logo they used between 1997 and 2001 (before the Aspers took over Western International Communications, which owned CHEK and sister BCTV):
For a bit of additional background, shortly after Canwest took over the station, CHEK dropped all simulcasts and shared content from BCTV and dropped the CHEK branding, as it joined CH, a secondary, looser network to Global, with fewer stations and a line-up consisting of Global scraps (actually lower-rated programming that was not fit for Global's audience) and American off-network syndicated fare during prime-time, with local programming and internally syndicated shows remaining the bulk of the schedule. In an attempt to boost audience, the company sealed a deal with Comcast to rebrand the network as E! and air its shows; fearing the audiences would be alienated with local programming being thought as celebrity-oriented, the CHEK branding was revived after the rebrand, initially for the local shows; when CHEK was sold to its employees and local investors after an aborted closure attempt, the branding was made permanent and the logo was updated, as part of a campaign called "Watch Local", emphasizing its ownership and an increased focus on local programming (alongside syndicating some non-religious shows from Christian broadcaster Yes TV during prime time).
