Tremendous news. The Big Breakfast is already a staple of Channel 4's 90s schedule and to see it return, at least on Saturdays for 4 weeks, guarantees more people will actually see it and offers an "alternative" to all the cooking shows that plague Saturday morning. After all, Channel 4 are supposed to be the alternative station, leave cooking to Sundays.

In a way, it’s almost a return to old style Saturday Morning TV too.

I think this is the only feasible way for a long term Big Breakfast return (and one which could have served ITV very well if they'd realised the value of their asset).

This commission does so much justice to the sterling work AJ and Mo put in. It was such an enjoyable watch and it's also a perfect show for Summer.

Sadly I don't think the neighbours in the properties which have cropped up over the last couple of decades were that welcoming to the show.

I would be very surprised if it returned to Lock Keepers Cottage as it just doesn't seem practical to me. I'd rather they broadcast from a location with more flexibility than a residential property would allow.

I do think we'll be seeing the return of Zig & Zag though as they seemed very supportive of the Black To Front edition and were even mentioned during the show.

When they say *more* Big Breakfast - had it previously been revived? If so, totally missed that. Saying that, I’ve not watched since Chris Evans and Gabby Roslin left!

It had a one off revival last year and won two RTS Awards for their efforts - Best Entertainment Show and Best Presenters for Mo and AJ.
