"An LWT Production", but "A London Weekend Television Production".
But does anyone know why it's "for BBC", but not "for the BBC"?

I might be wrong, but the "An" before "LWt" is because of the first consonent being pronounced "El" (aka there's a vowel sound at the start), hence the vowel rule applies, while "London" starts with a "Luh" sound, hence it doesn't apply there.
As for the BBC part, best guess here is that the logo stands for "the BBC".

Yes, as has been said, whether 'a' or 'an' is used depends on if it's a consonant or vowel sound, rather than the specific letters. For instance you would say "an historic occasion" rather than "a historic occasion".
And we refer to it as 'The' BBC because it's The British Broadcasting Corporation, just as we'd say The NHS because it's The National Health Service. Both acronyms end with a word which makes more sense when you use 'The'. Why they insist on "For BBC" is beyond me, apart from the fact it looked less messy when the BBC's branding was streamlined in 1997.

Couldn't they have found a version of the logo that has a black background at least? Also, they're supposed to use a single colour version anyway aren't they?
