It's a bit disorientating to have the continuity announcers swap out every junction. At 7pm we had Cerys, at 7:30pm we had Matt and now we have IVC for "Angels of The North Night". I understand there are 10 announcers so they need to give everyone equal opportunities, but they ought to stick to one person for a night and leave it.
They're both women and that trumps regionality; ITV guidelines

It's as if 10 announcers is too many. Two would be sufficient to be functional, but perhaps 4 to give them a decent range of voices.

Digital Spy reporting sexual assault on the set of that Stacey Dooley cooking programme, so that might be delayed considerably.

Well I have given it a couple of days to see how things went. I have been watching and I think the BBC have completely misfired and misjudged the audience here.
When BBC Three was on air before it was targeted at 16-34 year olds, and did a great job of balancing the madness with the mature. This time however, they have just completely missed the mark.
The bright green presentation is just thrown in your face and is almost like somebody may have been using drugs at the organisation when designing and signing them off. This is not CBBC and needs to shift forward and quickly.
When it comes to the announcers, they sound as if they are excited, let's hope they become more professional, slow down and just bed in properly.
Unfortunately the worst thing I have seen on the channel is The Catch Up. The format works well to give you everything quickly... And paced excellently, it has been thought out well. It's a bit of a look back at those 3pm BBC One news bulletins from yesteryear blended with CBBCs Newsround! But whilst Newsround always gets their audience spot on with a friendly style, we have this lady Levi Jouavel who thinks she is in the pub with her mates like an excited puppy who will get a reward if she shouts and gets excited the more the 3 minute episode plays out. The look matches branded news shows on World and News Channel and presumably the new look rolling out.
I'm hoping the other two presenters aren't that bad! Whoever selected Levi after screen testing needs their ears tested.
It is almost like BBC Three went off the air, everyone got stuck in a timewarp whilst sniffing cocaine and then came back on speed or crack thinking this relaunch was a great idea.
BBC Three was a great channel for me back then, it almost seems a wasted opportunity, to reconnect with their lost audience. I am now 33 years old so I get that I am at the wrong end of the audience but it was my age group who loved Three so maybe the audience should have shifted to 26-44 years pointing content where it is needed. Anyone 16-26 is probably out with friends socialising or drunk in the park or pub anyways.
Overall just feels rushed, a missed opportunity. And whilst others may disagree, this is how I feel.
Disclaimer: Drug and alcohol use is not recommended or responsible, just order yourselves a Domino's pizza, with a Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, Diet Coke and find someone to watch Netflix with to chill!
Has 60 seconds returned? I heard prior to the relaunch it was meant to

It has been replaced by The Catch Up.

Watched BBC Three last night and I have to say, it's a big improvement over the old look for 3 reasons
1. During programmes the DOG is the same transparency as BBC Four's DOG which looks very smart.
2. The announcers are well-suited to the channel's age group.
3. The presentation is perfectly executed especially with the new green colour and those hand mascots. Add the new BBC logo and branding on top and you have a winner on your hands!
Hopefully the channel will be here to stay because in my opinion, it had a great start and hopefully it won't get axed again like in 2016.

A suggestion, and one that is plausible, that the reason for the lack of appearance of BBC Three on EPGs in Ireland by today (and one I find plausible) is that the BBC hasn’t secured EU regulatory clearance yet (this won’t be in Ireland, for various reasons, but Luxembourg). Presumably Dutch and Belgian cable operators which carry BBC domestic services are also affected.

As they advise accessing iPlayer via a VPN I'm guessing BBC3 content hasn't been officially available in the RoI (and Europe) anyway over the last few years anyway other than what has got a BBC1/2 airing.
