It is interesting that MTV is FTA in some countries but in others it has always been seen as a pay brand. MTV Germany show a nice mix of music and programming, they didn't need to split the channel into MTV Music and MTV (where the entertainment shows go).

Note 1: I used airquotes because anyone can watch whatever they want, TV channels shouldn't be gendered.
Note 2: 9Life is Australian.
I don’t think 5Action is going to be gender-specific.
Just a guy who’s interested in TV Pres.
Not many changes from the 19th to the content as far as I can see (up to none), but then again, this was a rebranding exercise in the first place.
I wish Prisoner Cell Block H was on TV again. Shame I can't see the first 2 seasons of it on YouTube, it's been blocked by Fremantle.

Did C5 keep hold of Wentworth rights through to the end, on 5Star I think?

I'm hoping the DOG is toned down. Seems to be a bit brighter than the others, maybe just to get the point across to viewers its a new channel, but the DOG on the other 5 branded channels is more transparent.
It also doesn't tie in the the other DOGs, all their other channels have the 5 logo in the same place, but for 5 Action they have lowered the size of the overall DOG which actually makes it look distorted. Maybe it won't be as obvious when it is set like the others and it fades down after a few seconds.
Have to say, from the presentation I've seen on the Ident Gallery, 5Action certainly has some good sonic identity and feels quite Spike-y, which I hope was the intention. I suppose the programming for it also won't be bad for it either.
