What shows did you enjoy watching growing up back in the day?

I was a lucky boy who grew up watching a lot of Cartoon Network during the 2000's, so I experienced the 90's Boom as it was just about ending, and the early 2000's silver age that the channel went through. Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Powerpuff Girls (with its badass theme tune), Dexter's Laboratory (lord, I am showing my age), The DCAU as a whole was excellent. In terms of British shows, Dick n Dom inda Bungalow, Stupid on CBBC was the best sketch show they did until Horrible Histories (which I also loved as a teenager), Spongebob of course, on general principle.

I grew up in the '90s mainly with CITV - so not only Art Attack, Finders Keepers, Fun House, How 2, Mike & Angelo, Rosie & Jim, Tots TV, Wizadora, Woof!, Zzzap! and the various Warner Bros animated series, but also quite a few shows that perhaps aren't *quite* talked about as much.

Children's BBC did play a role in my childhood too - new *and* old eps of Grange Hill (the old ones on Sunday mornings, of course), "Byker Byker, Byker GROVE!", Blue Peter and the Yes/No People's version of the theme tune (love it or hate it), and Newsround and this excellent title sequence (hmmm, whatever became of Julie Etchingham...?  ).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5Y4X1EjN4I And L&K on Saturday mornings, because even I felt then that ITV's offerings in this slot were inferior.

I used to love both Working Lunch and On the Record as a child, though episodes varied in quality as you’d get the fun bits with the fish or crocodile-clock but then endless minutes of boring men talking about finances and taxes. Definitely two CBBC shows far above today’s target audience.

I was terrified of The Flumps. Pootle in particular. Johnny Ball's various programmes were the best thing on telly when I was a kid.
