I'd say Presentation is the correct forum for the VMTV sale thread, as that sale will almost certainly mean a rebrand, which means a new presentation package.

does anybody else find the weird 'loading' overlay reduces the usability of the site? all it seems to do is make the page fly around - it causes the browser to spend more time scrolling about than actually loading - it's not as though the page even takes a long time to render... what is the thinking behind it?

The "thinking behind it" was that it was meant to make site navigation easier, however I've noticed the same issues, so I've disabled it.

on another subject, I'm not familiar with this forums software (phpbb?) but why does dark mode only seem to apply after the page has fully rendered? is it just an add-on that does a css hack rather than an intrinsic feature?

it's no great shakes, just a bit weird!

The dark mode is a feature of the design of the site, it's not controlled by the forum software. It's still in the experimental stages at the moment, so things could change with the next theme update.

If you don't mind me pitching a small idea here - and I'm not sure if something like this could be pulled off - but I wanted to visualize it regardless.

Honestly, I don't know why - I just thought it could be a neat graphic addition to the site.

If you can't pull it off, that's fine by me.

It can be done, but there's no point to doing it, so it won't be happening.

Seems we've already got to the point where searching for something brings up more than one page of results, but when it does and you click to view Page 2 you're told you have to wait as you can only perform one search every minute, even though it's just looking for more results from your initial search. Is that fixable?

It only seems to do it after the initial search too - when you switch to page 2 after a minute you can then go back and to through the pages without restriction.

My main bugbear at the moment is using search. If I want to go to page 2 of search results, I have to wait at least a minute.
