And I'm greeted by the TV Forum cube spinning in the darkness. Sad to have missed the closedown and even more sad that the site is now gone. With all that said, I was happy to be a member in its final years and this forum is certainly looking to be a worthy successor. Goodnight TV Forum and hello TV Live Forum!

The close certainly took me by surprise.. it was just coincidence I was on at 10.03! Like everyone else (it seems) I was expecting a midnight finish. I'm glad I caught it though.

Was hoping that we would get the answers to the 20 ending theme quiz but can't quite remember who posted it. :?

Same here I expected it to go at midnight but thinking back multiple people asked what time it would close but got no answer.

I had 1 last post ready and waiting for in the final hour.

I came onto the TV Forum tab with 58 seconds to go (on review it was 68 seconds), at first I thought maybe it was a test for the real close down or some random things would appear from tv presentation over the next 2 hours. What significance does 22:03 have I thought? now we know thanks to earlier posters above.

Was it the full 90 seconds like BBC News or 60 seconds?

I made a mad scramble to submit the post but it started to go blurry. i thought oh great that my browser is playing up now of all times then I realised I'd missed my chance. I took a few screenshots and was pleased to get 1 at 00:00 exactly but the video looks much better (looking back at my screenshots the countdown did not grow for me. Did it only grow in size on the home page?)







I'm also finding I have to submit posts 2 or 3 times before they appear on here

I have had that and I think it could be something to do with people posting things at the same time as you and is asking you to review what you have put to reflect any newer information and discussion points. Im sure [mention]Rob[/mention] can verify if this is the case or wether I am just guessing wildly with it.

Yeah, as I mentioned upthread, I saw the countdown and quickly mentioned it in the And Finally thread. I'd be surprised if anyone managed a submission after that as the countdown was on 20 seconds when I submitted. When the site returns as read only, we'll know for sure.
