Not entirely sure why they've captioned it Challenge Anneka, since it's using the Treasure Hunt theme, unless the actual challenge is the cooking but anyway...

Why are there subtitles over subtitles or is it the player settings doing that?

No surprises there. There's only two black people in the company I work for... and I'm one of them.

Absolutely. And I'm sure Lifted will be crewing up black talent specifically to lead the production of the show itself. It's just a shame that literally none of the senior talent who have been awarded the commission are black, and that subsequently much of the initial planning and early decisions might not involve black talent, which really just highlights the deep rooted problem in the industry (and beyond).

Yep. They put a call out via the Black in TV Instagram page, and are asking for black talent to apply.

There was a ‘Friday nights on C4 sponsored by DFS’ sting before the ident into Gogglebox but at no other point so looks like they only air before idents. Is this the first week for it? Haven’t noticed it before.
