BBC (Miscellaneous): 2021 Rebrand
I think the animation from iPlayer to Sounds goes too fast, so you lose the effect and almost feels like a fade to another graphic rather than showing it as a sleek animation using the same blocks as the BBC logo moving around.

new BBC NI sting.

Simply the new BBC mnemonic, but recoloured. Not surprised. The same might happen for Cymru Wales and Scotland.
That's odd, your post is blank. And so was this one when I previewed it. Looks like quoting a post with a Twitter embed breaks it.

Wait, so is that hum really the 'sonic logo' we'd previously heard things about?

Given we've only seen it on the BBC 100 special stings up until now, I thought it was just for the 100 years anniversary.

Kinda weird that Northern Ireland sting doesn't follow the same 'falling blocks' animation seen on the BBC 100 stings either.

The new (interim?) CBBC logo. The same promo was shown on air again today.
Outdoor flags and stalls with the new blocks used in BBC Radio Northampton's 40th anniversary. Their Twitter profile picture also changed to the new style (the only local radio to do so by far?), but the banner and video close are still using the old 'contour lines' look.

Now on TVTalk, Pres Café and DeviantArt. Goodbye to all that, TVLF.

The images are quite large, so I hid them in the spoiler.

I like how the new branding is an evolution of the original, but with gradients forming the contour lines.

It's not an interim logo, the kids channels aren't fully rebranding. That Reith text and new BBC blocks is as far as it goes.

But then why have this during CBBC's downtime/startup?

If you've got a system, why are the children's channels the exception during promos and presentation? We know that CBeebies have started to implement the logo in other promos (such as the "WE GOT THIS" campaign which has been used on and off-screen)

If anything, the fade into the BBC iPlayer symbol is only passively a "Eh, whatever, it's done, dusted" motive, instead of the blocks just simply moving into centre frame.

I doubt they give much of a toss about CBBC's branding considering the channel is shutting down soon.
Wonderfully weird.

I would hardly say that 2025 is soon

Childrens content has often been the exception to generic presentation rules for quite obvious reasons.   It needs to be more eye-catching.
@Brekkietweets
I can guess one of the reasons why it might be taking such a long time for CBeebies at least - there are just such a large number of assets to rebrand. There's all the different strands during the day, loads of programme-specific idents, plus various songs etc.

All with the logo in different positions and appearing at different times as well, so there wouldn't be a one-size-fits-all solution.

There is eye catching, and then there is following BBC brand guidelines. The personality of a brand shouldn't be lost because they happen to follow the same branding as One/Two/Three/Four/etc. In fact, who's to say you can't express personality from what you've got in the idents? Hell, CBBC followed guidelines back in 1997 and I'd say what they were able to do with a yellow scheme is warm and inviting. I understand CBBC has NEVER followed BBC brand guidelines from the years 2002 to today, but still, you'd want consistency throughout the many BBC brands, not just slapping the new Reith BBC logo and calling it a day.
