Love that they are using the 2002 bug typeface as a big and bold headline display font, alongside Reith.

No idea how much this is used on air these days, but works wonderfully in that context.
Cool! I wonder if I'll see it at the Highcross Shopping Centre, if I go there, just like when I saw an advertisement for Radio 1's hottest record.

I have a theory that the CBeebies logo you've been seeing in the last month is a placeholder logo and I expect the proper logo to debut around CBeebies' 20th anniversary.
I'm not 100% expecting it, but I just hope.

I may be wrong but today is the day of the last 9pm closedown of CBBC, it will revert back to a 7pm closedown from tomorrow

Yes you're right, tonight is the last time CBBC closes down at 9pm.

I hope someone records the last ever 9pm closedown for prosperity (sadly I can't because I don't actually have any video recorder)

You could just screen record the BBC iPlayer stream on your phone or laptop if you want it.

I imagine there will still be a 7am till 9pm slide tonight but from tomorrow it will just go to a black screen.

My prediction is it *could* go to an MHEG on Freeview, the respective Sky-branded and VM-branded off-air slides on... Sky and Virgin and then I have no idea what happens on Freesat.

I wonder if the CBBC presenters are going to acknowledge the change of the closedown time. I'd imagine a lot of kids will feel disappointed and then a few weeks down the line they realise that those hours weren't EXACTLY used for anything really notable.
Also known as "Allanbuzzy" on other places.

Yeah, with BBC Three coming back, they'll probably revert to what they were using before it originally closed.

I don't think they did, the channel just had its final 9pm closedown with no IVC.

I think they will acknowledge that tomorrow or it could just close without IVC.

The updated closedown slide has the new CBBC logo, but it's not on air yet, just on said closedown slide.
