I'm fairly sure this issue has also impacted GMB before.
Sometimes, things just break. All you can do is fix it to the best of your abilities. Get over it.

But of course, because Breakfast actually tries to keep to its timetable and makes sure the regular items happen at pretty much the same time every day, so the audience can fit them into their routine, viewers still had a pretty good idea what time it was. Unlike some other programmes.

Checking yesterdays (19th July) Morning Live that I PVR'd (always pad it a little bit ahead), they came back from the last regional opt without the clock. It didn't come back before the end.
Don't know if the issue happened before the opt, but if Breakfast did the whole show today without the clock, doesn't that seem like there has been a serious problem with the graphics? (or they are changing something for Olympic Breakfast)

I've just read the presser and it says there will be a Special Edition of BBC Breakfast throughout the games with plenty of live sport in addition to the regular national and regional news updates. [/quote] No I meant in the programme summaries in the online schedule. Also the time Olympic Breakfast is on air, we will be properly intro the swing of the Olympic day in Tokyo, not like in 2016 when OB was on during the night in Rio. I think changes have been made - for example Dan and Sam coming on an hour earlier than initially announced; but I also think Olympic coverage will be safeguarded in an changes made due to all the isolating.
