Yes, as I said in my original post it's full of box sets that can be viewed in the rest of the UK. Put a non-Scottish postcode in and it wipes out all the ITV shows and you'll see there's quite a lot available. It's been available UK-wide on Freeview Play and smart TV apps for ages so not sure why they'd restrict an advertising campaign outside Scotland to just Cumbria and the North East of England?

I spotted an ad for the STV Player on the side of a bus while home in Merseyside for Christmas. I've never seen it advertised outside of Scotland before, it'll be interesting to see if this is part of a wider UK-wide push as they have a decent amount of box sets available outside Scotland now and it's easy to access on smart TVs and Freeview Play.

You wouldn't happen to know who the bus was operated by? It could be that if its stagecoach it may be a transfer to England, and the adverts weren't removed.

Has anyone else noticed that continuity announcements sound distorted and have robotic type glitches? This has been going on for a week or so now, and the announcement into NAT was particularly glitchy.
