Quite like the new font-it's easier on the eye than the default system font, especially as the corners look rounded in small sizes.
Just a suggestion: maybe use different font thicknesses to differetiate the site parts from another, like using semi-bold for topic titles and normal font for the text? Also one thing needs to be sorted out is where to place certain topics. The recent transmittion centre fire thread is in the Presentation section, while the previous mast fire one is in the Programmes section. To me, the topics are slightly too technical to fit in either section, so maybe it needs to be reconsidered?

The recent fire thread covers presentation as well as technical issues, whereas the transmitter fire doesn't cover presentation, but more the loss of channels and programmes, as well as the technical side. When things overlap, it's hard to make a decision as to where the topic should be. For the moment, I'm happy with where these topics are.

I've noticed the "new" theme isn't available while logged in - am I missing a toggle/setting, or was this changed at some point?

Yeah, rob. I hope in the future TV Live Forum will have more moderation to discuss whether the system will be implemented.

You do realise this forum is provided to you for free? So a spam message appears on occasion. Big deal, just ignore it. Report it, then move on. Usenet newsgroups used to get flooded with spam on a daily basis, which makes forum spam look insignificant by comparison.

Hi [mention]Rob[/mention] , looks like the notification bell has stopped working. I can see (2) in the title bar and if I click the bell I can see two notifications, but the bell doesn't light up.
I think this started when you changed the font. |
