In two weeks according to the schedules The One Show returns to an hour on a Wednesday. I hope this is a one off as it works better when it’s half an hour.

The One Show was on TWO tonight. It's happens quite often that the show flips onto TWO, even if it's just onto TWO Wales or TWO NI.
But what will they do from next week when Doctors finds a new permanent home in the 7pm TWO slot? At the moment the 7pm slot on TWO is very disposable, and can easily be replaced as and when with The One Show, but with Doctors taking up residence in the 7pm slot, BBC Two lose some flexibility. Maybe FOUR will become the sacrificial 7pm slot for The One Show as and when required?

Isn’t it just going to be a repeat of the earlier BBC One showing though, so perhaps more disposable in this age of iPlayer?
I’m sure they will have planned for this eventuality though, even if as you say, moving one of the shows to BBC Four.

I would think the 7.30pm BBC Two programmes will continue to be very moveable (repeats of Nigella next week) so One Show at 7 and Doctors at 7.30pm will be very possible.

The One Show not shown on linear TV in Wales today or yesterday with the news extending until 19:30 and live snooker shown on BBC Two Wales.

BBC Two aren't going to build a Doctors following if on night 4, yes just 4 nights in and they are not showing it!....(yes I know its on Iplayer...but still, Two could have at least bumped Doctors to 7:30pm).

They're not going to bump it to a slot versus EastEnders. Indeed Doctors has only been getting a 2% share on BBC2 so at that level it won't last long in primetime.
