Lots of reasonable constructive feedback here. Important, of course, as that's how things improve and how any issues are ironed out.
I think it's worth noting a few areas where I have been pleasantly surprised, in order to give feedback about what works as well as what doesn't.
Firstly, I am loving the ability to be more creative when typing new posts. Being able to change the text size and colour were not possible over in our former blue abode, but it's a great feature.
I also appreciate the fact that you now get notifications when someone has quoted your comment. Previously, somebody responding to your comment could easily be missed, now you cannot fail to notice. (On a related note, being able to tag users is similarly useful.)
Finally, I think the idea to mark the 'insiders' in a different colour is a very useful tool, and not one which I had even considered previously. Helps to separate the people who actually know how things work behind the scenes first hand, and those who, like me, merely have an interest in the field.
Nothing's ever perfect at first, and there will always be changes which can be made for the better in the immediate aftermath of any site's launch, but I thought it important to give some balance on what I feel are the site's positives so you get a rounded view of people's likes and dislikes on the whole.

"Good evening. Dull, grey, cold, miserable - and that's just me. The weather hasn't been great, either."
