There was no reason though to doubt them in the first place.

Will be interesting to see the location - really hoping it has potential for a proper revival. Sadly though I just doubt C4 are willing to invest and give the show the time they did in 1992 to go for that - the best we can probably hope for is it shows there is an audience for something other than cooking on Saturday mornings, though realistically I suspect it'll be a distant third behind Saturday Kitchen and James Martin - and probably have a cookery segment of it's own as the one off episode did last year.

Ironically, finding a new location might be what gives higher hopes for a future of the show since the availability of the original house is now always going to be at the behest of the current owners, and a more reliable home - or indeed proving the show can come from any "house" - makes it more viable for future commissions. I am pleased the new presenting lineup have had a "handover" episode in the original location though - feels like a fitting way to lead into the next era of the show.

I think you're probably right regarding a "proper" revival though. I'd say a longer Saturday morning run once or twice a year is likely if this one's a hit, but I doubt we'll ever see it daily - certainly not with these hosts, which (IMO) are probably a big selling point in this incarnation, and their excitement of being involved probably has a lot to do with the commission in the first place.
