The breakfast shows have always gone overboard with the Oscars, I remember they used to do back in the days of The Big Breakfast, when they’d cut off Johnny Vaughan in full flow, because there was a sighting of a big star within 20 feet of Donna Air or whoever they’d sent over there to interview the stars
