Interesting to see Sky Channel pre the Sky we know now. Those early satellite channels had a very unique style - much brasher and modern than the terrestrial ones but not wildly American either.
Interesting too that they were based at 31-36 Foley Street. That address being the former home to ATV London*, in the early 80s an ITN spin off called UPITN was based there and in the 90s it was the HQ of the ITC. More recently BBC Worldwide had offices there so it has quite a TV heritage. Seems its now been turned into flats.
*seems in the 70s it was the UK home to Carl Ziess lenses
