I think they work for iPlayer only trailers, but not so much for the BBC1/iPlayer where really the iPlayer should be secondary in the promotion.
What I think is also an issue is whilst with BBC Sounds it feels like now that BBC Radio and BBC Sounds are one and the same thing and when they promote Sounds they also promote the mother brand too it still feels like with television that the channel is a competing brand to the iPlayer, rather than part of it. It doesn't feel like BBC1/2/4 or even BBC3 is promoted as a brand within iPlayer in the same way that Radio 1 exists as a brand within BBC Sounds.
