BBC Three: Launch
I can’t say I’ve watched BBC Three at all apart from the premiere showings of RPDRUK Vs. The World.

They need to follow the E4 and ITV2 approach (and arguably the BBC Three mk.1 approach) of a mixture of imports and genres in order to provide something for everyone. That’s of course provided they do want the ratings. Currently just relying on the homegrown content means it kind of dies a death to those not already aware of the channels content. And they seem to be making every effort to not opt to go with content from BBC Three mk.1 - which is the right approach of course. But it lacks any motivation right now for anyone to actively watch the channel.
