Not surprised. There isn't enough budget to make it good even though it's off air most of the time. At least the article comments on Masterchef Australia and how the channel should focus on original in-house commissions but it's programming which will appeal to outside the BBC3 demographic that is going to rate well more than anything else. As with BBC Scotland, there is a way of getting around quotas and maximising viewing figures to prove that people want a channel but it is not the product that was envisioned and that's the problem.
