Without getting into rota talk (but doing exactly that I guess) did Susanna just do Monday last week or did they use her on Friday as well to preview the funeral?

Hopefully the next few months do her good - when she moved initially it was very much a Susanna led programme with her clearly being the senior co-host and she was given the opportunity to show off her credentials in a way perhaps Breakfast didn't allow. Obviously over the years Piers over shadowed her and although at times she showed exactly how good a journalist she was in many ways her role was reduced to eye rolling as Piers ranted on.

I agree with this, but I think that Susanna's 'minimized-role' after Piers took over is exaggerated. She still proved valuable to counter Piers's arguments in debates and still put in her own input, challenging Piers a lot of the time. The reason that many think that she just sat there and rolled her eyes is because the vast majority of clips we saw in the press were of Piers ranting, not Susanna providing a counter-argument as she usually did.
