YouTube channels - prez and content discussions

He is a train driver for one of the train operating companies here in the North of England and Scotland. He features can rides aplenty on his channel and I don't mind spending a good few hours watching on of these well produced videos.

The one featured was filmed by a friend of his who works on the Manchester Metrolink. The video features onboard views from the can plus additional - to use the phrase - "fly by" type shots of the trams passing by the areas. The one featured is the one that starts in my old stomping ground of Ashton-under-Lyne and heading to Eccles with a little stop by MediaCityUK. Enjoy.

Nice find, Aaron. I seem to have developed this weird admiration for trams - I think it comes from my granddad who was a massive trains geek, bless him.

There are loads of tram cab view videos on YouTube which I find soothing, visually interesting, relaxing, and so on. It's a nice way to see a city you may never have visited before.

In my last year as a student in Sheffied, I was a "customer care ambassador" - basically, I took payments and issued tickets after the firm essentially moved from machine ticketing to on-board ticketing. I did it for 6 months and loved it - fab people worked there.

This takes me back half a lifetime now!

EDITED: Unforgivable word repetition within the same sentence. Tsk.
