The iPlayer icon has been slowly introduced, with the interim text-based logo finding its way onto the app icons first, followed later by the pink blocks after they’d been slowly introduced in promotions.
But then News goes straight in for the red blocks before they’ve appeared anywhere else… although there’s the text-based logo on the splash screen.
For a supposedly carefully planned, phased rollout, they’re doing a good job of making it all seem very random and haphazard.
Well I’ve created a folder in the hope that they all change to icons soon…!
