There was another occasion recently where no anthems were played / televised; I'm trying to remember what/when.

EDIT: I've remembered - it was the U20s game between Ireland and Wales at Cork.

So BBC NI opt out of them but presumably include them in any BBC network coverage?

Presumably network is less sensitive to such issues and perhaps GAA fans North of the Border tends to lean heavily republican?
