Unused Idents Celebration

[Blubatt]

How's about the soon-to-be-released new BBC One package?

The version of it before the recall?

Can that count as unused idents?

I suppose we need to define what constitutes an unused ident really. Was it made to be on Television, but for one reason or another, it was completely scrapped? Is it a radically different alternative to an existing ident package? Was it internally tested, with a CA reading generic continuity to test it? Those are what I'd class as unused idents. For now, I am going to say that the new BBC One Package is going to be a no. Thistle's comments seem to indicate that these were the ones that were due to launch in October, in spite of a lack of more regional idents.
