That being said, I'm probably out of step with most people in the sense that my favourite era of ITN branding was between about 1987/88 and 1992. They introduced more up-to-date branding in a rolling programme between 1987 and 1988 which was a vast improvement on the branding it replaced - essentially a hangover from the 1970s. It was introduced during the tail end of the Wells Street era and moved by and large with ITN into Grays Inn Road. I did also like the branding introduced in 1992 when the atrium started playing more of a role, although I think they hit top form again with the 1995-1999/2000 incarnation.
