The BIG Breakfast to return in August

Worth noting that AJ Odudo will be a guest on the series finale of the Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan tomorrow night, all things considered she is the co-host they might mention The Big Breakfast which is supposedly starting 13 August

Does anyone know where the BB house is for this run? The same one they used in the original? Or perhaps it’d make sense to do it from Leeds Dock since Steph’s Packed Lunch has the summer off.

I'd imagine it to be at Lock Keepers Cottages, thats if the new homeowners approve of renting out the house for 4 weeks accross the summer, should they not get Lock Keepers Cottages, Leeds Dock could potentially work.

The press releases keep mentioning 'The Big Breakfast' house and 'The House' so it's safe to say it's LockKeeper's cottage. I'm sure they would promote the 'NEW Big Breakfast house' and make it a feature if they were on the move.

The production team have launched an official Twitter feed (@bigbreakfastC4) and from who they are following it appears to confirm the return of Judy Love along with Munya Chawawa joining the team. No sign of Melvin.

Munya was part of last year's episode too as Barty Crease, though maybe he'll do the OB this time.

And a shame that Judi Love could find time in her busy schedule of appearing on every other TV show to return here. She was very much the weak link last year.

That time The Big Breakfast did the whole show from Dublin...

Don't remember that at all - guessing it was probably early 1998 by the clock (St Patricks Day perhaps?). Possibly the last full show they did on location - don't remember any at all in the final few years.

Yes, that's right - Saint Patrick's Day 1998. Think they took over a castle for the morning.

They definitely aired a full show on location at least one more time after this - they gave viewers the chance to have the show come from their home in its dying months and broadcast a full episode from the chosen house. They billed it as the last time the show would ever be on location. I think it might have been in the penultimate week.

Various BB trails from 1996. I don't remember Vanessa's slot being at 08:30 in this era...

I've been told the new series won't be coming from Lock Keepers Cottage but will be in a new house in the London area.

I thought it seemed unlikely to be at the original house. Will be difficult to find a location that matches it, especially with the outdoor space.

Some shots of Johnny & Denise in front of the french windows in 1997. I thought they spent most of their time in the corner of the living room?

If it were true about not using Lock Keepers Cottages, why would they be plastering the original house all over their recent promos and casting calls?

Because it's well-known and it's for the nostalgia factor.

Think this is quite an early show - I don't think it was until the darker mornings they moved to the corner.
