Any news yet on what's happening with the episode which was pulled on Friday? I expect it will be shown as an additional episode next week, but I can't currently see anything in the schedule, beyond the standard four episodes.

I can’t see the current schedule being finalised. It still states that they’re airing the 12th April episode tomorrow - so it will have to change to reflect they’re airing Friday’s episode.

I can see The One Show being extended by 10 minutes and it replacing Fawlty Towers. But nothing confirmed yet.

Frankly, EastEnders have been that crap at the moment, I doubt few fans of the show actually missed the episode of Friday.

I suspect the BBC might air Friday's episode tomorrow and then do a double bill on Tuesday before the 40 minutes of Holby City

Yes, plenty of slack in the schedule thanks to EE and Holby still airing shortened episodes. The Masterchef final to air as well.

Another Walford v Weatherfield clash means annihilation for Sharon & co. The BBC really don’t seem to care much about EE anymore.

An extra episode after Tuesday’s usual EE would have been smarter because- although there’s another Corrie clash with an extra Corrie hour at 8- Corrie is out of its usual slot, so weakened.

EastEnders used a real tube station I think for tonight's episode (either Aldwych or the former Jubilee Line platform at Charing Cross), but an augmented reality tube train was used for the final scene featuring Kush and Gray.

I don't think they did use a real station, it looked too clean and the cabling on the tunnel wall was too sparse.

A very well made set I thought, but missing key signage on the equipment panels on what would be the headwall tunnel.

Having seen the ending there is no way LUL would let actors roll around in the suicide pit, it's a one stop shop for all manner of infection and disease, nor do they generally allow filming of PUTs.

On another note, as someone who's dealt with enough of them - there is no way on this planet that Gray + Kush's body wasn't seen by the driver. The trains can go into platforms fast but not that fast (artistic licence if they say it's suicide). When we get get to a scene I would be questioning a few things, in this instance the fact Kush's body would be seen to jump backwards by the driver and Gray would be seen on both OPO CCTV or station CCTV (which would've been remotely accessed and replayed within 5 minutes or so of the call to BTP being made by LUCC).

I'll be very interested to see how EE handle it from this point on; though I'm not holding my breath for any accuracy in the events that follow

My gut is telling me, as a long-term viewers of EastEnders who just about managed to survive the Sean O'Connor era, that a change in the Exec Producer is going to happen very soon on EE
