When we first got Sky in late 1992, I was fascinated that the main German channels were there.

I only ever watched the game shows - 'Glücksrad' being my favourite on Sat.1, and I loved the music package used until 1994.

Of course, there was plenty of talk in the school playground about late-night films on the 'beachball channel', but I steered clear of those 8-)

Sat.1 was legendary. I remember being introduced to Mann-O-Mann on there, and finding it utterly bonkers, before the format came to the UK with Chris Tarrant. They also had their own version of Don't Forget Your Toothbrush. As for the movies, well, it didn't really matter that they were in German, of course.

Some BeIN Sports presentation from their channels aimed at the Middle East. It includes the pointers to the channel numbers they are having to broadcast since re-organizing their channels at the start of March. For example, Bein Sports 1 is now on channel 3, BeIN Sports 7 or 9, BeIN Sports Premium 1 on 11 which is confusing to say the least.

I think on MediaSpy forum, they've given him the nickname 'Tim' - it's a shame they don't really do idents on Channel 7 and 9 anymore (from around 10 years ago) apart from sponsorship tie-ins. 7 usually cut to the next show or a cross-promotional menu:

From Mexico, the main ident from the country's most viewed channel, Las Estrellas, owned by media powerhouse Televisa. This ident was used between August 2016 and June 2020. It was a part of a massive rebrand of this channel, developed in-house at Televisa, after consultation from Lee Hunt Associates.

Beforehand, a well known logo, designed by Pablo Rovalo in 1997, was used, and the channel was known as "Canal de las Estrellas", in reference to the personalities who form a part of the channel's daily schedule, which are widely regarded as national stars. This ident is from 2012:

You're definitely right about that, but I can't blame 'em; most people would rather see what happens to the romance of Bea O' Problem and Al ca'holik rather then see Tim's antics with a paddleball.
