It looks nice and a departure from the lighting strips and bright colours that it’s had from its permanent London launch. With the upcoming rebrand in a few months I expected the logo to be given a Reith treatment, and I didn’t expect that the large letters would remain, especially as they don’t appear to be using that as the background.

The old titles involved the logo itself animating, but I'm guessing this new one will have video clips (the phone footage they were asking for a few months ago) in squares, which then fade to red and the logo just fades up or animates on? If so, it would be pretty easy to update it with a new logo the first Monday after the BBC rebrand.

The 'one' in the background has changed. Previously half was on was side of the glass and half was on the other. Now all the parts are on the same side.

Screens featuring scenes from around the UK is… interesting. Suspect there may be some elements of the channel’s new look in the titles.

It looks pretty good! Feels strange seeing the guest sitting by the window. The entire layout has essentially been rotated 90-degrees.

Evolution rather than revolution but if it ain't broke etc!
A pretty good effort all round - it does look better with the window on the left as it makes the wide shots look much more impressive. The titles are also thankfully subtle - when they mentioned they wanted fan videos, I was very worried. Obviously some things will change again in a couple of months but intriguing to see which things are already a hint to what's coming. Bit puzzled by the order of the large illuminated letters in the window. They're in the correct order but the letters are reversed when seen from the studio. Surely that means that if you stood outside, the letters would be the correct way round but the word would spell eno rather than one!

It feels a little stuck between the old BBC One look and the new one – and that’s without knowing where it might be headed! I dunno, I much prefer the brash vividness of the old style set, and I have to say that it feels a lot closer to This Time with Alan Partridge. I’m sure future familiarity will help though.

Is that the same studio being used, or has it also moved up to Salford considering it had two presenters who have worked up there over the summer?

I wonder how Sunday Morning Live is going to look as they usually use the One Show set - just with yellow covers in the couch, a different coffee table and a rug.

they did a good job in so much as they somehow managed to make the decade old titles which must have been knocked up in an afternoon look more swish than the new titles! quite an achievement really.
I can only assume these are placeholder titles until the autumn?
