Can I just say that the clocks on TV Live Forum seem to be on +1? Didn't know we had a timeshift service! What should be 4:28pm as of writing this is actually 3:28pm!

Time Zones.
Technically the board is always in GMT time.

You can change your time zone in your User Control Panel -> Board Preferences.

Mine is set to UTC+1 and Europe/London. Does the country setting allow the board to track if daylight savings is in effect? GMT is UTC+0, BST is UTC+1.

IIRC I don't think its the board that "knows" about daylight savings time, there is a link to the PHP manual (the software/scripting that runs the board) which I believe is capable of working out whether you're on UTC+1 based on the date and the default timezone. Time will tell at 2am on October 31st this year

Just some server maintenance, a couple of extra advertisements slotted in, and a subtle header change!

I am planning to refresh the Glossary of television terms in the next few days. If anyone has any terms that are NOT featured in the list that should be, please send them to me via private message, and I shall include them in the update.

Also, a list of the studio names at New Broadcasting House and what they are used for would be quite handy as well.

You're not the first person to report this. I've noticed that some of these "fake" articles have been slipping through the net on occasion. I've changed the settings a little bit, so hopefully you'll see less of this in future, but I'll have a proper look when I'm back online on Friday.
