I totally thought that TVF would close at midnight ?

I left my laptop at 21:57 to get a cuppa and came back online at 22.30 only to see the tv forum tab in darkness with the sound player at the bottom of the screen. If only i stayed online a few minutes later i would have seen that awesome closedown.

Same here I expected it to go at midnight but thinking back multiple people asked what time it would close but got no answer.

I had 1 last post ready and waiting for in the final hour.

I came onto the TV Forum tab with 58 seconds to go (on review it was 68 seconds), at first I thought maybe it was a test for the real close down or some random things would appear from tv presentation over the next 2 hours. What significance does 22:03 have I thought? now we know thanks to earlier posters above.

Was it the full 90 seconds like BBC News or 60 seconds?

I made a mad scramble to submit the post but it started to go blurry. i thought oh great that my browser is playing up now of all times then I realised I'd missed my chance. I took a few screenshots and was pleased to get 1 at 00:00 exactly but the video looks much better (looking back at my screenshots the countdown did not grow for me. Did it only grow in size on the home page?)







I'm also finding I have to submit posts 2 or 3 times before they appear on here

I was kind of hoping for a few nods from gallery computer screens, etc. I've seen TVF alluded to on TV stations quite a few times in the past. Maybe that's still to come. Some interesting likes on Asa's tweet.

Well I guess this as good a point as any to make my first post here! Better update my bookmarks - I've absent-mindedly clicked the TVF bookmark at least twice already since it closed...

I was fortunate enough to catch the closing down as it happened and thought it was quite a touching moment, especially the blurring out of the background leaving as the sites logo spun back and disappeared.

Doesn't sound unusual to me. I've caught myself typing "tvf..." in the address bar every few minutes. Old habits die hard...

I'm the same. Everytime I opened a browser, typing 'tvf' was the first thing I did...then it was on to the other sites I regularly use.
